Main project features:

Design & Drawings of Hydraulic Structures & Land use Digitization for Buried Pipe Network of Muhuri Irrigation Project (MIP).

Activities performed:

The main assignments includes support the International and National Experts in the following aspect:

  • Field assessment of primary, secondary, and tertiary canal system in canal system
  • Design of hydraulic structure Such as Water Control Structure, Regulator, Balancing Storage Reservoir, Intake Channel and canal systems for surface
  • Preparation of standard drawing using AutoCAD
  • Preparation of Estimate and BOQ for rehabilitation and new structures
  • Collection of Spatial Data and Satellite Imagery of the project area from Primary and Secondary Sources using arcGIS.
  • Landuse feature digitization for preparing the project maps using arcGIS
  • Satellite Image and Data processing for identification of features
  • Preparation and Exporting various images/maps into different resolution and file types for specific use
  • Conditional and operational assessment of hydraulic structures in the irrigation system
  • Project Site visit with Team to find out the conditional assessment of existing structure and Agricultural condition of Project.
